Transfer case breather

The twin turbo models of Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO/Dodge Stealth platform have a Getrag transfer case which contain a rather limited amount of oil (about 0,3 liters / quarts).

During track use or prolonged high speed driving the oil in the transfer case has a tendency to start seeping out from the small rubber breather in the transfer case.

Given the limited amount of oil in the transfer case to start with this can be problematic especially over time.

In order to permanently resolve this problem we have developed a small billet aluminum breather that replaces the stock rubber breather.

This aluminum breather is meant to be used together with a short bit of silicon hose and a small reservoir in the engine bay (we usually recommend using a motorcycle brake fluid reservoir).

This setup allows the transfer case to breathe properly without loosing any fluid as the oil and air has time to separate before the air escapes from the system.
