Headlift fix
The twin turbo versions of Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO/Dodge Stealth have a tendency to blow head gaskets at higher boost/cylinder pressures.

This is often due to the edges of the combustion chamber in the cylinder head flexing as there is a wide coolant channel under each side of it.
In order to prevent this flexing the cylinder heads can be machined and threaded aluminum rods installed on each side of the combustion chamber. The threaded rods press against the bottom of the coolant channel preventing the combustion chamber from flexing. When the threaded rods are in place they are welded over and the cylinder heads are skimmed.
We have done this modification on many 6G72 cylinder heads and in order to somewhat simplify this otherwise rather tricky job we have developed a CNC milling program to do all of the required machine work.
The price of this modification is 600$ for two sets of heads (this does not include shipping to/from the customer). If you want to have this modification done contact us.
